Breast Enlargement

Indications:

*Smaller than desired breasts

*One underdeveloped breast which is noticeably smaller than the other

Procedure description:

*The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia.

*A small incision is made either under the pigmented area of the breast (nipple/areola complex), or under the breast, and an implant is inserted either on top or beneath the muscle of the chest wall.

Recuperation and Healing:

*Initial discomfort is controlled with mild medication.

*At the end of the week, light activities can be resumed; more vigorous activities may resume shortly thereafter.

Intended Result:

*A more shapely breast contour in and out of clothing

*A more positive self-image.

*The procedure is considered cosmetic and therefore is not covered by insurance. The patient is responsible for payment.
